Clueless Celebrates its 21st Birthday since making its debut on the silver screen which became an instant cult classic movie hit. Who could forget our favourite fashionista Alicia Silverstone’s    fictional character making fashion history as our favourite style icon of all time. Even designers to this present day have paid homage to her fictional movie character by reviving classic ensembles for the contemporary designer collections. The patent leather miniskirts were brought back by  Miu Miu and who could forget the signature sheer tank dress dress made famous by designer Calvin Klein. The dress sheer long sleeve cover up created such an impact in todays trends has seen newly refreshed versions created in previous collections.

Capsule collections of the designer trends have seen an influx demand of these styles created for the new youth generation such as brands Wild Fox created one off pieces inspired by the nineties movie. Who can forget Cher’s signature designer backpack where designers Mansur Gavriel also emulated replica styles to revive the key look for spring summer 2016 also statement shrunken sweaters were seen on the designer catwalks.

We still associate the nineties today with over the knee socks and plaid mini sets which Clueless helped pave the way for a new wave of preppy minimalism will remain always a classic.
