House of Holland presented an acid house rave inspired collection evoking the Hedonistic 90’s. Think East 17 and Take That back in the day. Street style trends were very big this season talking over the catwalks and House of Holland led the way as the leader of the pack.
Models wore vibrant block colours as separates, with logo’s on t shirts depicting the Rave Republic of Rebellion. Sub cultures of youth become the centre of this collections inspiration as video imagery of an acid house rave played in the large background screens. We saw embellishments on denim which reminded me a of Tom Ford’s collection for GUCCI during his reign of the Nineties. The collection was styled with accessories including chain necklaces, baseball caps and sunglasses kept it very cool and understated with edge.
